Classically trained Melbourne born Singer/Songwriter and Recording Artist, Kaye Harrison, has been singing her whole life. With two independent albums, her vast musical experience includes commercial as well as corporate and club work.

In 1987 she was chosen to support John Farnham in the Geelong leg of his ”Whispering Jack Tour” at the Geelong Performing Arts Centre.

 

Throughout the 80’s and 90’s Kaye’s voice could be heard on various radio and television commercials, including many sessions as Backing Vocalist for other artists.

Kaye also has a background in Aged Care as a Lifestyle Facilitator in both a nursing home and day centre setting, working in high care, low care and dementia specific.

In recent years, Kaye has taken her music to various facilities in the form of one hour interactive singing groups and concerts. Her repertoire is extensive, covering genres from the golden oldies to jazz and some of the great show tunes of yesteryear. Combining some storytelling and humour, Kaye comes as a solo act, complete with mobile PA, radio microphone and full orchestral backing tracks. She is also available with a jazz piano accompanist or trio.

Kaye’s background in aged care has given her great empathy and sensitivity to the needs of the aged as she takes them back in time through the gift of music.
